IHC Histotech Position

Job Posting: IHC Histology Technician

Seeking a highly motivated IHC Histology Technician to join our team at Highlands Pathology Consultants, P.C. located in Kingsport, TN.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform basic histology procedures such as embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Perform basic histology manual special stain procedures.
• Operate, use, and maintain specialized histology instrumentation.
• Utilize pathology computer system to record and retrieve pathology data.
• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the company.

Qualifications:

• Histology experience REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s Level Degree in Science preferred
• QIHC (ASCP) registered/registry eligible preferred
• Grossing Tech experience or meets grossing eligibility requirements preferred

This is a full-time day shift position Monday-Friday. Excellent benefits including 401(k), PTO, Health Insurance, Life Insurance.
