Highlands Pathology Consultants, P.C. is seeking a full-time BC/BE pathologist to join our group serving hospitals in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Our practice sees a broad mix of surgical pathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology cases. The person hired for this position will join other pathologists at one of our flagship hospitals in Bristol, TN. Subspecialty training in hematopathology and/or gastrointestinal pathology would be a plus.
Requirements:
*AP/CP board certified or board eligible by American Board of Pathology
*Medical licenses in Tennessee and Virginia or eligible to obtain
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Able to fulfill Medical Directorship duties for anatomic/clinical laboratories
*Able to diagnose broad range of surgical pathology, cytology, and hematopathology cases
*Participation with hospital committees
*Perform EBUS rapid assessments
*Strong work ethic
