Highlands Pathology Consultants, P.C. is pleased to announce that Toby E. Foster, M.D. will be joining their Bristol practice on July 1, 2012. . Dr. Foster is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Dr. Foster received a Bachelor of Science, Summa cum Laude, from North Georgia College and State University, Dahlonega, Georgia, prior to receiving his Doctorate of Medicine from Mercer University, Macon, Georgia. He completed his residency in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. Following his residency he completed five years of military service in the U.S. Army where he served as medical director for both anatomic and clinical laboratories at several medical centers. After completing his military service, Dr. Foster returned to Emory University for a fellowship in Dermatopathology. With the addition of Dr. Foster, Highlands Pathology Consultants will provide a specialist in Dermatopathology for the first time to the patients of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
