Patient Account Specialist Position Available
Job Posting: Patient Accounts Specialist
Highlands Pathology Consultants is looking for a Patient Account Specialist to join our team. The Patient Accounts Specialist is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday schedule. The position is in-person and works from our administrative and billing offices in Blountville, TN.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Post payments and related follow-up and correspondence
- Proof file for insurance claims submission
- Process insurance and patient refunds
- Customer service with patients, client offices, and employees in a professional manner
- Other clerical functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical billing office preferred
- Proficient computer skills – accuracy and efficiency a must
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Detail oriented
- Good oral and written communication skills
