Dr. Gregory Stancel Joins HPC
Highlands Pathology Consultants, P.C. is pleased to announce that Gregory A. Stancel, M.D. has joined our Kingsport practice. Dr. Stancel is board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology.
Dr. Stancel received a B.A. in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, TX, prior to receiving his Doctorate of Medicine from UT Houston Medical School, Houston, TX. He completed his residency in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. Following his residency, Dr. Stancel completed a fellowship in the subspecialty of Cytopathology at Methodist Hospital, Houston, TX.
Since the completion of his fellowship in Cytopathology, Dr. Stancel has served in several capacities for the United States Air Force. His most recent post was Anatomic Pathology/Cytopathology Lab Director for Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl Germany.
With the addition of Dr. Stancel, Highlands Pathology Consultants will expand our expertise in the area of Cytopathology improving services to the providers and patients in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
