Dr. Christopher Heitz joins HPC
Highlands Pathology Consultants, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher T. Heitz, M.D. to their practice at Holston Valley Medical Center on July 17, 2017. Dr. Heitz is board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and is board eligible in Hematopathology.
Dr. Heitz received a Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, prior to receiving his Doctorate of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Medicine, Richmond, VA. He completed his residency in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. Following his residency, Dr. Heitz also completed a fellowship in the subspecialty of Hematopathology from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA.
With the addition of Dr. Heitz, Highlands Pathology Consultants, P.C. continues to provide exceptional care for patients and expertise in the area of Hematopathology to the providers in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
